By participating in the Amazon Smbhav Awards 2025 contest ("Contest"), you signify your agreement or agreement of the business you represent, to be bound by these T&Cs and these T&Cs is an agreement between you or the business you represent ("you" or "your" or "Applicant") and Amazon Seller Services Private Limited ("we", "us", "our", and "Amazon"). If you are an individual representing a business or entity, you hereby represent and warrant that you are the duly authorized representative of the Applicant and have the full authority to submit the Nomination on behalf of the Applicant for participation in the Contest and bind the Applicant to these T&Cs.

1.1 To enter the Contest, the Applicants must fulfil the eligibility criteria that has been provided under Annexure A to these Contest T&Cs.

2.1 The Contest is an initiative of Amazon. All proprietary rights including intellectual property rights in connection with the Contest lie with Amazon.

2.2 Nomination: You can enter the Contest by filling and submitting the General Nomination Form (" Phase 1 Form ") hosted on the website at smbhav.amazon.in ("Site"). If your nomination is shortlisted for further evaluation and consideration, you will be contacted by Amazon using the details provided in Phase 1 Form . You will then be required to submit additional information through a second form ("Phase 2 Form"), specific to the Award category(ies) selected in your initial nomination (Phase1 Form). Submission of Phase 2 Form must be completed within the timeline communicated to you in Amazon’s request. Phase 1 and 2 Forms are collectively referred under the T&Cs as "Nomination(s)".

2.3 Nominations for the Contest shall be submitted by Applicants eligible to enter the Contest, through their duly authorized representatives.

2.4 Applicants shall submit the details for Nominations and participation as may be required by Amazon from time to time including but not limited to – business details such as year of incorporation, nature of business, revenue and related financial details for up to two years, Applicant’s / authorized person's details such as name, email id and mobile number. Failure to comply will lead to the Nomination/(s) being disqualified.

2.5 By agreeing to participate and enter the Contest, Applicants agree that they have relevant documents to validate the eligibility requirements for this Contest, and Applicants may be required to share the said documents with Amazon as and when requested, including by way of the Nomination forms.

2.6 All Nominations to the Contest must be submitted on the Site by the timeline communicated to you on Link to the website.

2.7 Entry to the Contest does not require any fees.

2.8 Applicants can submit their Nomination(s) for any category of the Contest for which they are eligible subject to a maximum of two (2) categories per Applicant.

2.9 By submitting the Nominations, you are not guaranteed to receive any Awards.

3.1 Subject to fulfillment of these T&Cs, the below "Award(s)" will be provided, to winners as provided below:
(a) Award: Trophy
(b) Number of Awards in each category (as mentioned under Annexure A): 1
(c) Number of Winners in each category (as mentioned under Annexure A): 1

4.1 Evaluation of Nominations will be undertaken by Amazon. Such evaluation will be done in a fair, reasonable and non-discriminatory manner. Amazon reserves the right to determine winners based on relevant criteria.

4.2 The selection of winners of the Awards will be done by a jury consisting of: (a) person(s) with relevant industry knowledge; and (b) personnel of Amazon or its affiliates (collectively, "Jury"). The decision of the Jury shall be final and binding in all matters relating to determination of the winners and the awarding of Awards. No appeals or further correspondence will be entertained.

4.3 Amazon will notify the Applicants that meet the requirements to claim the Award, by e-mail / SMS by December 7th, 2025 ("Notification Date"). The Award(s) will be distributed on December 10, 2025 at Amazon Smbhav 2025 proposed to be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi ("Event"). The Applicant will be required to attend the Event. Amazon will cover reasonable travel and accommodation expenses for the Applicant (or one authorized representative). In case the Applicant is unable to attend the Event, Amazon may, at its sole discretion, send the Award to your contact details submitted during Nomination.

4.4 You will automatically forfeit your claim to the Award(s) if you do not meet the eligibility at any stage of the contest or do not comply with these T&Cs. Further, if selected and eligible, you will need to claim the Award(s) within 10 (ten) days from the Notification Date, failing which, you will deem to have forfeited the Award(s). It is clarified that “claim” means the winner’s response to the communication of their win, either by confirming attendance at the Event or by providing their address to receive the Award. In case of forfeiture of Award by the winner, Amazon reserves the right to give the Award to the participant who secured the next highest position in the evaluation process, or to otherwise deal with the Award at its sole discretion. The procedure of claiming the Award(s) will be as instructed by Amazon, wherein you may be required to visit appropriate web-links and provide requisite details. Each Award(s) will be awarded "AS IS" and WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, express or implied (including, without limitation, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose).

By entering the Contest, you consent to being placed on a mailing list for promotional and other materials for Amazon. You may update or change your email preferences at the email preferences page.

Please note that we may be running similar contests or promotions at the same time as these Contests. By entering the Contest, you will not be eligible to receive any benefit and/ or prize awarded in any other promotion/ contest unless you enter each promotion/ contest separately.

7.1 All applications must be true and correct along with updated business details and must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned in these T&Cs.

7.2 The Applicant agrees to be bound by the evaluation, determination and decisions of the evaluators including PWC,the Jury and the Jury as to the evaluation of Nominations including eligibility to participate in the Contest, determination of the winners and the awarding of Awards shall be final. No correspondence, telephone, email or communication of any kind will be entertained in relation to the decision of the Jury or evaluators and the same shall be final and binding.

7.3 All material submitted in support of application/Nomination or otherwise is warranted by the Applicant to be their property and is without any encumbrance by third parties including any misappropriation or infringement of third-party intellectual property rights of any third party, and they have the requisite rights, authorities and licenses to share the same for the Contest.

7.4 The Contest is designed by Amazon and is per their best of efforts.

7.5 Amazon does not make any commitment, express or implied to respond to any feedback, suggestion and/or queries of the users or Applicants and Amazon disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, in relation to the Contest and the Awards.

7.6 The Applicant agrees that the Jury is entitled to judge the Nominations and select winner(s) as per their discretion without recourse to the Applicant.

7.7 If the Applicant gets shortlisted for the Awards or gets selected as a winner, the Applicant grants permission to Amazon to use any material and details shared by the Applicant including but not limited to photographs, video, audio files, written or other material as may be deemed fit by Amazon and without restriction. The Applicant hereby grants (a) Amazon and its affiliates, the worldwide, exclusive, perpetual, sub-licensable, assignable, royalty-free, rights and license, to take, use, display, edit, distribute, modify, make derivative works, and publish the materials submitted as part of the Nominations or otherwise provided to Amazon (collectively, the "Materials") in any form, format and manner, and in any media whatsoever, for any purpose; (b) grants consent to Amazon, its affiliates, its agents, its contractors, and its service providers to collect, store, analyze, process, and use the Materials; (C) releases Amazon from all claims and liability relating to the Materials.

7.8 Nominations received without the mandatory fields filled will be deemed invalid and withdrawn from the Contest without any intimation.

7.9 Authorized representative or the point of contact named on the Nomination will be deemed as the point of contact by Amazon.

7.10 Nomination deadlines and other timelines may be extended at the discretion of Amazon without assigning any reasons.

7.11 Applicants agree to be contacted by Amazon and its partners, representatives or service providers etc., for the purposes of communication (via email, phone or post).

7.12 All Nominations will be judged on the information or details provided at the time of Nominations. Any amendments may be accepted till the form is submitted, after which no further amendments will be accepted. Amazon reserves the right to require any other additional information that it may require for the purposes of evaluation.

7.13 These terms shall at all times be read in conjunction with Terms of use (available here) and Privacy policy (available here ).

8.1 This Contest is being made purely on a "best effort" basis and participating in this Contest is voluntary. By entering this Contest, (a) the Applicant agrees to be bound by the T&Cs; and (b) the Applicant and the business they represent release from liability, indemnify, defend and hold harmless Amazon, and any of its affiliates, employees, directors, partners and agents representing or related to Amazon and its services/products. This release, indemnification and duty to defend is for any and all claims, expenses and liability (including reasonable attorneys' fees), including but not limited to damages of any kind, defamation, negligence, infringement of trademark, copyright or other intellectual property rights, personal injuries, property loss or damage, and misuse of the benefits/ Awards offered under this Contest, in connection with any activity or directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, or participation in this Contest, even if caused or contributed to by Amazon's negligence.

8.2 Amazon is not liable for any damages (including direct, indirect, consequential, incidental and exemplary) if the Contest (registration and/or participation thereof) is unavailable/inaccessible to Applicants (by virtue of interruption, suspension or termination) for any reason, including due to computer or communications link downtime attributable to malfunction, upgrades or preventative or remedial maintenance activities.

8.3 Notwithstanding anything to the contrary, Amazon shall not be liable to the Applicants, the business they represent or any third party, in any manner whatsoever in connection with the Contest.

Amazon may, in its sole discretion and at any time, disqualify any Applicant if: (a) found to be in non-compliance with the T&Cs; (b) found to be tampering with the entry process, the outcome of this Contest, or the operation of this Contest; (c) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other Applicant; (d) in violation of any applicable law. By participating in this Contest, each Applicant unconditionally accepts and agrees to comply with and abide by the T&Cs and the decisions of Amazon, the evaluators and the Jury as the case maybe, which will be final and binding, including Amazon’s right to verify eligibility, to interpret the T&Cs, and to resolve any disputes relating to this Contest at any time. Failure by Amazon to enforce any of these T&Cs in any instance shall not be deemed to be a waiver of the T&Cs and shall not give rise to any claim by any person. These T&Cs are governed by the laws of India and courts at Bangalore shall have the exclusive jurisdiction in respect of any disputes or any matter arising here from.

Participation in the Contest, shortlisting, or receipt of any Award does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship, affiliation, or partnership between Amazon and the Applicant or the business they represent beyond the scope of this Contest. Applicants acknowledge that no relationship other than that expressly stated in these T& Cs is created by participation or winning.

This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, governmental restrictions, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Amazon ("Force Majeure Event"). Amazon shall not be liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to you as a result of a Force Majeure Event.

You consent to Amazon's processing and sharing of your personal data, including without limitation, your name, business address, and other details provided in the nomination form for the purpose of the Applicant's participation in the Contest for Amazon Smbhav Awards, 2025. The Applicant's personal data will be processed in accordance with the privacy notice (available here ).

12.2. The Applicant acknowledges and agrees that Amazon may share the Applicant's personal information with third party assessment service providers, including PwC, for the purposes of assessment and otherwise as required for the purposes of the Contest and under these T&Cs.

12.3. Amazon may collect, process, use the Applicant's personal information and other details for as long as is necessary for the purpose of the Contest and the Applicant consents to such processing. Further, Amazon and its partners may contact the Applicant or send reminders for the purposes of completion of registration formalities or for providing additional information and the Applicant provides its consent for the same. The Applicant may also receive periodic communications relating to future competitions or otherwise from Amazon. By registering for the Contest, the Applicant agrees and acknowledges that they may be contacted by Amazon or any of its affiliates via email, SMS, and phone. It is the sole responsibility of the Applicant to notify Amazon in writing, should the Applicant’s email address change.

Amazon reserves the right to amend, modify, or change these T&C, including the Contest rules, eligibility criteria, and Award details, at any time and at its sole discretion. Amazon also reserves the right to modify, substitute, replace or withdraw any Award offered in the Contest without any liability towards the Applicants. Continued participation in the Contest after such changes shall constitute your acceptance of the updated T& C.
